My purpose is to inspire others to articulate their purpose for more oomph and impact in their life and work.

I consider myself a world traveller and life long learner. I entered university at 17, moving from the Albertan village of Innisfree to the big city of Edmonton. My linear algebra class of 250 students was larger than my hometown. I have always worked to travel, whether it was peeling potatoes as a dishwasher at the age of 13 at Innisfree’s Hiway Cafe or working 3 jobs in university to buy my next plane ticket. I knew during my orientation week at University of Alberta that I was destined to explore beyond Canada when I was enthralled with AIESEC. I forced myself to finish my bachelor of commerce degree despite being more interested in arts and language due to spending a full academic year at Laval Universite in Quebec City.

I feel privileged to have had over 35 years of executive experience in Canada and Asia. Upon returning from a career in Malaysia as a managing director of a marketing communications company, I was introduced to the cooperative business model and joined the c-suite team at one of Canada’s largest credit unions. For 21 years, I incubated, developed and led the functions of marketing, communications, corporate social responsibility, member experience, digital banking, product development, data science, innovation and purpose. This eventually led to stepping into my own Oomph as the first Purpose and Innovation Officer for the credit union.

Today my Oomph continues with the launch of Triniti Solutions. The WHY of Triniti is to help individuals and businesses leverage purpose and innovation for impact. My purpose is to inspire others to articulate their purpose for more oomph and impact.
